Our Dermatologist

Dr Shanna Ng is a Ministry of Health accredited Dermatologist with over a decade experience in the specialty. She practises in fields of general, aesthetic and laser dermatology. Her subspecialty is in Paediatric Dermatology and Eczema. Prior to starting Ark Dermatology, she was practising at The Dermatology Practice @ Mount Elizabeth Orchard from 2021 to 2024. Before private practice, Dr Shanna was a Consultant and Clinical Assistant Professor with Changi General Hospital and Singhealth Duke-NUS Medicine Academic Clinical Program respectively. She continues to be a Visiting Consultant to the Eczema clinic at Changi General Hospital. She has been an executive committee member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore since 2021 and is the treasurer of the Dermatological Society of Singapore since 2022 to 2024.

Dr Shanna graduated from University of Melbourne, Australia and completed her clinical rotations at St Vincent’s Hospital, following which she returned to Singapore to pursue her career in medicine. She completed her Advanced Specialist Training in Dermatology at National Skin Center and Changi General Hospital. She was awarded the Eastern Health Alliance Human Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Fellowship sponsorship in 2015 to pursue subspecialty training in Paediatric Dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, USA. She also did a short observership with the Paediatric Dermatology Department at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and also with Melbourne Allergy Centre & Children’s Specialists.

Dr Shanna’s subspecialty interest in Paediatric Dermatology also led her to be one of the founders of the Rare Skin Disease Society of Singapore in 2017. She is also a member of the Asian Society of Paediatric Dermatology since 2018 and International Society of Paediatric Dermatology since 2021. Dr Shanna has published in her subspecialty field and also beyond in peer-reviewed scientific journals and contributed to the textbooks Pediatric Dermatology 4^th edition, Atlas of Asian Pediatric Dermatology and Pediatric Skin of Color. She was also the Principal and Sub-investigator for trials studying the efficacy and safety of biologics in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. She is interested in educating the public about Eczema and has helped to organize the annual Changi General Hospital Eczema public forum.

In 2018, Dr Shanna was awarded the 10-year long service award with Changi General Hospital. She was also awarded the Eastern Health Alliance Caring award, Silver in 2014 and Singapore Health Quality Service award, Silver in 2020. She was also a Clinical Physician faculty member of the Singhealth Internal Medicine Residency Program and was an examiner for the MBBS exams.

Dr Shanna Ng 吴姗怡医生是一名皮肤专科医生。她专注大人及儿童皮肤科、美容和激光皮肤科方面、经验丰富。吴医生的专长是小儿皮肤科和湿疹。

吴医生在激光治疗胎记，湿疹和牛皮癣，提供过敏检测和普通美容皮肤科方面也很有经验。

在私人诊所工作之前，她是樟宜综合医院的顾问。过后，她从2021 至 2024在伊丽莎白专科中心（Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre)的皮肤诊所看诊。

她曾在国家皮肤中心 (National Skin Centre) 和樟宜综合医院完成了皮肤科高级专科医生培训。她也获得了东部健康联盟（Eastern Health Alliance）人力发展计划赞助（Human Manpower Development Programme) 的奖学金，并在美国迈阿密大学 (University of Miami) 米勒医学院 (Miller School of Medicine) 接受了小儿皮肤科的培训。她还曾在墨尔本皇家儿童医院 (The Royal Children’s Hospital)和墨尔本过敏及儿科中心（Melbourne Allergy Centre & Children’s Specialists MACCS Medical Group) 的小儿皮肤科短期实习。

吴医生曾担任新加坡保健集团杜克-新加坡国立大学医学学术临床项目 (Duke-NUS Medicine Academic Clinical Programme) 的助理教授。

吴医生参与编写了《Pediatric Dermatology》（第四版）、《Atlas of Asian Pediatric Dermatology》和《Pediatric Skin of Color》等教科书。她还曾是研究生物药剂对抗严重特应性皮炎疗效和安全性试验的主要研究者。
